Todays Event started with Nada Geethe by Ganayogi Panchakshari team Bidar. Later on Deputy Commissioner, Harsh Gupta Presided over the Function. On the dais district Incharge minister Mr. Revu Naik Belmgi, Gurpadappa Nagmarapalli, Rajashekar patil, Deputy Commissioner Bidar, SP Bidar were present.

Photo Exibition inaugurated

Photograph taken photographers by Gulam Muntaqua and Gopichand Tandle went on display at an exhibition inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner here on friday on the occassion of Bidar Utsav 2009.

The photographs of prominent personalities and monument captured the attention of the visitors.

Those who installed their Stalls during Bidar Utsav, they  will be allowed to

re-install their shops in re-scheduled Bidar Ustav programme. 

Diamond Card and Gold Cards will remain valid for new Utsav also.

Today, on the inagural function of Bidar Utsav 2009, Hon'ble Tourism Minister Janardhan Reddy & District Incharge Minister Revu Naik Belmgi, launched the Tourism Website i.e. www.bidartourism.com. Tourism Website is Desigened in Coordination with District Administration, National Informatics Centre & Nascent Technologies Bidar.

Bidar Utsav flagged of by Hon'ble Tourism Minister Janardhan Reddy by beating Nagada. On the dais district Incharge minister Mr. Revu Naik Belmgi, Gurpadappa Nagmarapalli, Ishwar khandre, Pradhu Chawan, Rajashekar patil, Basavaraj Patil Attur, Regional Commissioner, IGP, Deputy Commissioner Bidar, SP Bidar were present.

Diamond and Gold cards

"Diamond" card and "Gold" cards that were introduced last year was a partial success for organizers. The same system will continue this year and those who can afford to pay for those cards there is "value for money".

The Cost of "Diamond" card is Rs. 5000 with this card five persons will be allowed to participate in the three-day Utsav while a "Gold" card will cost 2000 and only two persons will be allowed. Counters will be opened in Bidar for sale of these cards.

Aerobatic display at Bidar Utsav

Surya Kiran Aerobatic display team of the Indian Air force (IAF), which has its base in Bidar, will perform at the inaugural function of the three day Bidar Utsav on january 27 at Bidar fort ,beside a display by the suryakiran team, there will be a 15-minute laser show sponsored by the Information department both at the inaugural and the valedictory show will comprise message of the state government.

"Ashtoor tomb, Madarasa of Mahmud Gawan and other monuments will be illuminated during the utsav"
