Bidar Band Performing a Bidar Utsav " Bidar Utsav Hamara Hai"
The Events on 11 April 2010 started with Classical Dance, Followed by a splendid performance from Raghu Dixit and his team from Mysore, Comedian Bharati (Lalli) Star One Laughter Challange Fame, Kawwali By Munnawar Hussain and his Team, Bhangada from Punjab and Marathi Sangeet (Bharood).
The Bidar Utsav 2010 Inaugurated by Sri Revu Nayak Belgamgi District in-charge Minister by traditionally lighting the lamps and beating traditional drums here in fort complex , in presence of Kannada film actor Mr Sudeep, attended by elected representatives of district, Bidar MLA Rahim Khan, Bidar south MLA Bandeppa Kashempur, Basavakalyan MLA Basavaraj Patil Atoor, Aurad MLA Prabhu Chavan and Sri Ishwar Khandre MLA Bhalki here on Saturday.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, Mr. Belamagi said, this event has been successfully conducted from past three years this is the fourth year we are organising this event in succession.
Kannada film actor Mr Sudeep said, organizing such a mega cultural event needs coordinated efforts and praised the efforts of organizers including district administration, and overwhelmed with support shown by elected representatives especially citizens of the district to make it grand success.
Bidar south MLA Bandeppa Kashempur said, the vision kept before starting such mega cultural event three years back in the district is heading towards achieving its objective and urged State government to lay thrust on make use of existing tourism potential existed in the district.

The event begins with Nada Gete sung by group of artist from Panchakshari Gavai Seva Samithi, several local cultural artistic groups presented several programmes.
